Yes — membership is required to fish in all AC tournaments. At least one team member must be 18 or older to register, and anglers under 18 can fish with a parent/guardian.
You are allowed 1 solo event and 2 events with a substitute partner and still accumulate your teams points. Anything outside of this will accumulate points as a new or seperate team.
Anglers earn qualification for the US Anglers Choice National Championship through performance in regular season events. Qualifiers are posted online and entry for the championship must be received by the deadline.
