CHOICE POINT STANDINGS
Qualify for the AC National Championship through a combination of divisions rather than just one!

The Choice Division is a nomad division where anglers can qualify for the championship and much more through multiple divisions. Fish 3 events in one divsions and 4 events in another - now you are in the Choice Division! The teams that rank in the Choice Division will have proven their success over multiple divisions rather than mostly one single division. Please see rules for additional Choice Division criteria.

Why Fish Choice Division and What's at Stake? - New for 2026 the top 3-4 QUALIFIED anglers in the Choice Points will punch their ticket to the Ultimate Angler Championship on Lake Guntersville Sept 27 - Oct 3, 2026 to fish for a grand prize of $500,000! Please see rules for detail.

Please note: Choice points will be updated immediately when the results of a tournament are posted on the website. Please make sure your tournament director knows the exact team name you are "fishing as" to gain Choice Points. To be determined a Choice Division qualifier at years end, your rank must be higher in Choice Division than any other single division (Qualified divisional spots only). You will represent the division in which you had the highest rank.

Choice Points for 2026 will follow a NEW points calculation method, that will take a weighted average of the tournament field size vs the team's finishing position. Ex. a 10th place finish in a 50 boat tournament will score higher than a 10th place finish in a 15 boat tournament. A first place finsh regardless will still be awarded 100 points. A win will still be a win no matter how big the field is. The weighted average will calculate down from there.

Like previous years, fish weight will not be calculated in Choice Points & it will still take a teams best 7 events when calculating. This method is going to truly award the teams that have competed the best against the field they are competing against. Formula for calculation is above. Please reach out with any questions.

1. Please look at all the results of the tournaments you fished and make sure that your names are exactly the same in each event.
2. When you find the event or events with your named spelled or entered incorrectly, please contact that director and have them make the adjustments. Each director has access to this and can make the changes for you.
